The MCETECH2006 e-Collaboration Workshop
|
| Goals |
Many
technologies have been developed and used by firms and networks of
firms to enable collaboration among individuals and teams engaged in
common activities. The design and implementation of such technologies
was particularly increased by the outsourcing and delocalisation of
activities, such as manufacturing, R&D, marketing, etc. This
workshop aims at bringing together researchers and practitioners to
exchange ideas and experiences about
electronic collaboration technologies and their impact on
organizations. The
presentations included in this workshop may cover any of the following
topics:
- E-collaboration
technologies in a supply chain or a network
- E-collaboration
technologies support for the creation of virtual teams
and virtual
organizations
- E-collaboration
technologies and their impact on knowledge management
and
organizational learning
- E-collaboration
technologies in product development and product life
cycle management
- Development,
implementation, and assessment of e-collaboration tools
and solutions
- Distributed project
management using e-collaboration technologies
- E-collaboration
technologies support for distributed process
reengineering and process
improvement
- Use and organizational
impact of e-collaboration tools (Wiki, Web-based
chat
tools, Web-based asynchronous conferencing tools, Blogs, etc.)
